    Chicago Metal Legends TROUBLE Return!

New Album The Distortion Field out via FRW Records

July 16th in North America | July 26th in Europe

Chicago metal legends TROUBLE return with their first album since 'Simple Mind Condition', released in 2007.  The album entitled 'The Distortion Field' features 13 tracks and will be released by FRW Records in North America on July 16th 2013 and in Europe on July 26th, 2013.

'The Distortion Field' makes history in the TROUBLE camp through the band's acquisition of a new lead vocalist, Kyle Thomas of Exorder and Floodgate fame.

Commenting on new vocalist Thomas, TROUBLE founder and guitarist Rick Wartell says, "Kyle is one of the most impressive singers I've ever heard, and by far the most extraodinary singer I've ever had the pleasure of working with.  He's got incredible range, incredible power, and an incredible knowledge of TROUBLE, as he's been a fan for 20-something years. We've known him forever, and he innately understands what TROUBLE is about.  He's like the perfect guy to come in and do this job. It's awesome."

RAVEN to Release Rock Until Your Drop - A Long Days Journey July 2nd in North America via Steamhammer/SPV

A Long Days Metal Journey - 2 Discs with 4 hours and 30 minutes of concert footage from Around The World, in the studio, backstage, interviews with the band, the fans, musicians and producer. It tells the story of over three decades of trailblaizing metal mayhem!

From the well documented early days as NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) frontrunners, RAVEN's albums ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP, WIPED OUT and ALL FOR ONE virtually invented both the speed metal and power metal genres - during the trailblazing USA tours of the 80's introducing the States to "Athletic rock" as well as giving opening acts like Metallica and Anthrax their first tours, through the doldrums of the late 80's/early 90's when a grunge obsessed media wrote off so many acts - RAVEN has consistently proved to be both survivors par excellence and in a genre of grim imitation - shown that they are "the real thing". Where so many of their contemporaries have either faded creatively or become parodies of themselves, RAVEN have consistently pushed the envelope while retaining their unique sound and attack - both in the studio & in their true element, onstage!

SNOW WHITE’S POISON BITE PREMIERE NEW MUSIC VIDEO (5/13)

Finnish horror-rock exports, SNOW WHITE’S POISON BITE have premiered a terrifyingly fun and gruesome new music video for the track “Will You Meet Me In The Graveyard?”, from their Victory Records’ debut album, Featuring: Dr. Gruesome and the Gruesome Gory Horror Show. The video is a treasure chest of classic horror flick visuals: a gory crime scene, an eerie undertaker, a foggy graveyard, zombie resurrections and a live burial that will have you at the edge of your seats.

MEGADETH REVEALS GIGANTOUR 2013 TOUR LINE-UP

Megadeth, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted, Death Division

GIGANTOUR--the critically acclaimed package festival founded in 2005 by MEGADETH’s Dave Mustaine—returns in 2013 with an incredible new line-up for the tour. In addition to headliner MEGADETH, the multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DEVICE, HELLYEAH, NEWSTED and DEATH DIVISION, all personally picked by MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine.

GIGANTOUR “This year’s power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet, and we’ve had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years. Gigantour 2013 brings four of my favorite bands, each centered around a superstar. With Zakk, David, Vinnie, and Jason there are going to be fans from Ozzy to Disturbed to Pantera to Metallica and everything that’s metal in-between! Don’t miss the metal festival of the summer!” says Mustaine. He founded the tour in 2005 and over the years has had established artists such as Volbeat, Motorhead, Anthrax, Fear Factory and Dream Theater, as well as giving (then) up-and-coming artists Lacuna Coil, Into Eternity and Sanctity their first break on a national festival tour. GIGANTOUR 2013 continues with this tradition.

GIGANTOUR 2013 will kick off on July 3rd in Gilford, NH and wind its way through North America, hitting cities throughout Canada and the U.S., wrapping on August 11th in Toronto, Canada. Tickets go on sale on May 10th with a special Gigantour pre-sale on May 9th. Check www.gigantour.com for further details.
